These are various forms of violations of the Animal Protection Act, such as: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"300\" data-end=\"349\">\n<p data-start=\"302\" data-end=\"349\">keeping the dog on a very short leash\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"350\" data-end=\"399\">\n<p data-start=\"352\" data-end=\"399\">keeping the animal in the sun without shelter and water<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"400\" data-end=\"526\">\n<p data-start=\"402\" data-end=\"526\">various forms of neglect (failure to visit the vet, failure to treat illness, irregular food and water, inappropriate housing)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"527\" data-end=\"582\">\n<p data-start=\"529\" data-end=\"582\">keeping a dog in an apartment without taking it for regular walks<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"583\" data-end=\"605\">\n<p data-start=\"585\" data-end=\"605\">hitting an animal<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"606\" data-end=\"628\">\n<p data-start=\"608\" data-end=\"628\">animal poisoning<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"629\" data-end=\"661\">\n<p data-start=\"631\" data-end=\"661\">cruelty to animals<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"snoopy-warning-media\">\n<div class=\"snoopy-image-block\">\n  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/snoopy.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/zlostavljanje-2.jpg\" alt=\"Zlostavljeni psi udruge Snoopy\">\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"snoopy-section-blue snoopy-report-info\">\n<div class=\"snoopy-container\">\n<div class=\"snoopy-report-info-inner\">\n<h2>HOW TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO THE VETERINARY INSPECTION?<\/h2>\n<p>You must send a written report to the state inspectorate about the neglect\/abuse of an animal, in which you will provide as many details as possible that point to a violation of the Animal Protection Act. Along with the application itself, it is desirable to attach as much concrete evidence as possible, such as photographs and\/or video recordings, witness statements, veterinary documentation, etc.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"snoopy-button snoopy-button-light\" href=\"https:\/\/dirh.gov.hr\/podnosenje-prijava\/83\">Report Abuse<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"snoopy-section snoopy-section-light snoopy-report-prep\">\n<div class=\"snoopy-container\">\n<div class=\"snoopy-section-heading\">\n<h2>The application must contain:<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<ul class=\"snoopy-impact-list\">\n<li>Description of the incident \u2013 specific details about the type of abuse or neglect<\/li>\n<li>Evidence \u2013 attach as much relevant material as possible:\n<ul>\n<li>Photos and\/or videos<\/li>\n<li>Witness statements<\/li>\n<li>Veterinary documentation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Information about the complainant, perpetrator and witnesses (if available):\n<ul>\n<li>First and last name<\/li>\n<li>Address<\/li>\n<li>Phone number<\/li>\n<li>Vehicle registration number (if relevant)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"snoopy-section snoopy-section-light snoopy-report-extra\">\n<div class=\"snoopy-container\">\n<div class=\"snoopy-card-grid-two\">\n<article class=\"snoopy-card snoopy-card-accent\">\n<h2>Identity protection:<\/h2>\n<p>If there is a risk to the safety of the reporting party or witness, request anonymity in the report itself.
